Nick Jonas says it’s ‘an honor’ as he and Jonas Brothers perform song Remember This for Olympic Closing Ceremony










Nick Jonas took to social media on Sunday to say it was “an honor” as NBC aired a special Olympics edition of Remember This, the Jonas Brothers summer single.

“What an honor …” wrote the 28-year-old performer. “Our performance of Remember This (NBC Olympics Edition) just aired as part of the Closing Ceremony on @NBC !!”

He added: “We are so proud of you @TeamUSA… let’s go !!” with a flexed arm emoji and the hashtag #TokyoOlympics.

Kevin Jonas, 33, described the clip marking the end of the Olympics as “a moment I’ll never forget” with a puffed emoji halfway through.

He added, “Our memory of that performance was just posted on @NBC at the #TokyoOlympics Closing Ceremony !! Wow !! ‘

Joe Jonas, 31, wrote on Twitter: “Performing this song at the Olympics closing ceremony is my to-do list moment !!”

The band appeared last month on a special for the network called Olympic Dreams featuring Jonas Brothers, in which they appeared in various sporting events.

The new video arrived at the end of the Tokyo Olympics after being pre-empted for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and was held under strict health protocols.

The end of the ceremony was themed The Worlds We Share, incorporating a light show and stunt bikes while pointing to a simulcast from Paris, where the 2024 Summer Games are slated to take place.

The President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, praised the Olympians for their concentration amid the unique setup of the competition amid the pandemic.
