Dwayne Johnson has entered the celebrity bathing discourse by telling the world that he takes a shower three times a day.
The 49-year-old actor responded to a fan on Twitter after celebrities like Jake Gyllenhaal, Ashton Kutcher and Kristen Bell said they didn’t feel the need to bathe (or wash their kids) every day.
“No, I’m the opposite of a ‘no-wash’ celebrity,” Johnson wrote on Twitter. “Shower (cold) when I get out of bed to start my day.

It comes after Gyllenhaal admitted that he sometimes goes without swimming. “More and more I find that the bath is less and less necessary,” he said. Vanity Show. “I believe, because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. Me too [brush my teeth].
“I also think that there is a whole world of not bathing which is also very useful for the maintenance of the skin, and we cleanse ourselves naturally.”
The whole saga began last month following an interview with Ashton Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis on Dax Shephard’s Chair expert podcast where they stated that they do not bathe their children unless they “can see the dirt on them”.
“Now here’s the thing: if you can see the dirt on them, clean them up,” Kutcher said. “Otherwise, it’s no use. “
Johnson stars alongside Emily Blunt in her latest film, Jungle cruise, described in NMEIt’s criticized as a “bloated classic summer blockbuster for the modern era”.
