Saint LGBTQ, Caped Crusader !!! Robin announces great personal news in the latest installment of “Batman: Urban Legends”… he’s bisexual.
Tim Drake is the DC character who fights crime as Robin, and when the sixth comic book installment came out on Tuesday, the story ended with Tim saying yes to a date with a guy named Bernard. Dowd.
The story goes … Robin had a “light bulb moment” while fighting side by side with Bernard. After coming to his rescue as Robin, Tim later hits Bernard’s notepad, and you can see the anticipation building up because he gets excited by saying… “It’s okay, Tim. You understood.”
Tim Drake finally coming out is so inspiring, DC never wanted a queer Robin, but after years and years of campaigning writers and fans, it has finally happened.
A big thank you to Meghan Fitzmartin, Belén Ortega and Alejandro Sánchez for making this moment so beautiful ❤️ pic.twitter.com/xb5YugEYd9

When Bernard opens the door, he’s about to invite Tim on a date, but Tim interrupts him with… “I’m really glad you made it home safely. I was relieved. And I thought a lot about that night. And I – I don’t know what that meant to me. Not yet. But I would like to understand. “
Bernard replies, “I was hoping you would. Tim Drake… would you like to go out with me? Robin says yes, and it’s the cliffhanger … until the next issue drops in December.
Fans have long been talking about Robin – who has dated women before – being gay, and many are thrilled with this DC plot twist. One fan wrote: “Crazy I saw Tim DRAKE come out years ago … kudos to DC for making this a reality.”
