Apple today released iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 beta 5 for developers. These updates don’t include as many changes as previous beta versions, but they do include a handful of small tweaks. Head down below as we put together everything we knew in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 beta 5.
With the fifth betas of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, Apple is focusing more on refinement than major changes. There are no major changes in the controversial Safari overhaul in this beta, unlike previous versions.
iOS 15 beta 5 has build number 19A5318f. Developers can update from beta 4 through the Settings app. Open the Settings app, choose General, then choose Software Update.
iOS 15 is also available for public beta users, but no new beta was released for these users this week. It’s possible that the next public beta of iOS 15 will be released later today or tomorrow, but a release next week is not ruled out. Apple also hasn’t released new beta versions of macOS Monterey or watchOS 8.
