Not everyone is a fan of Cam Newton’s nickname for Mac Jones.
The veteran called Jones “Mac and Cheese,” which sounds pretty benign considering his first name is Mac. But Bart Scott thinks there is more to it.

It really is a fraternity of players. … Watch this group improve on each other, compete at a high level, but also say “Let me help you, I’ve been through this before”. That’s what it’s about. This is how you build a team. This is how you get better and the future of the Patriots organization is in good hands. I think guys who’ve been here for a long time like me, you care about that. You are invested in this organization. It’s something we all try to do as older players.
