Fast forward to one second later and the patient is prepared for surgery, with a slit in the cyst. The doctor begins to squeeze as she explains to the patient what exactly is going on with her head.
She applies light pressure and she does. is. on: A huge sliver of semi-solid grime that was clearly ready to go begins to shoot out.
The doctor exerts a little extra pressure and more glue blows up. It’s at least several inches long, and Dr. Pimple Popper casually dismisses it as she continues to explain what exactly hair cysts are.
In case you don’t know them, hair cysts occur when a hair follicle gets clogged. And, although they can appear anywhere, they are more common on the scalp.
