Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are rumored to be dating and fans are struggling to contain their emotions.
The “Friends” co-stars have openly professed their secret feelings for each other during “Friends: The Reunion” – now the cast of Rachel Green and Ross Geller are said to have finally acted on those emotions and their momentum is on the rise lately.
“After the reunion, it became clear that remembering the past had aroused feelings for both of them and that the chemistry they always had to bury was still there,” a source told Closer on Tuesday. “They started texting immediately after the shoot and last month David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
The insider claimed that Aniston, 52, and Schwimmer, 54, “spent time at Jen’s place, where she made dinners in the evenings, and had quality time together, chatting and laughing.”

The source added, “They were also spotted drinking wine, having a conversation, as they strolled through one of Jen’s favorite wineries in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was a lot of chemistry between them. “
A representative for Schwimmer denied the rumors to Fox News on Tuesday night.
Schwimmer admitted he “had a crush on Jen” at the People’s Reunion special in May and Aniston told host James Corden “it was mutual” while the show aired from 1994 to 2004.

“We were both crashing hard, but it was like two ships were passing,” Schwimmer, who shares a 10-year-old daughter with ex-wife Zoë Buckman, added of his attraction to Aniston. “One of us has always been a couple and we have never crossed that border.”
The “Morning Show” actress played along and reflected on the frequent flirtations the couple indulged in as they acted opposite each other.
“I remember once saying to David, ‘It’s going to be really disappointing if the first time you and I kiss is on national television.’ And of course it was, “Aniston said,” We just channeled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel. “

Ross and Rachel appeared to reprise their characters last week, and Schwimmer posted a photo to Instagram of himself donning a “lobster” t-shirt that featured a sketched figure of TV’s beloved exes.
Aniston responded to the quip in her own Instagram post, writing: “For the record… we weren’t so much on break”

At one point, Ross is also dating Rachel’s spoiled younger sister Jill – played by Reese Witherspoon – although the romance is very brief.
Meanwhile, Aniston paid tribute on Tuesday to her ex-husband, Justin Theroux, whom she was married to from 2015 to 2017. Aniston was married to Brad Pitt for nearly five years before their split in 2005.

“Happy Birthday JT,” she wrote in an Instagram Story post on an image of the dapper-looking actor. “Truly one of a kind. I love you!” Aniston added another image of Theroux shirtless, showing off his toned abs.
A representative for Aniston did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
