The 49ers have officially released their first unofficial depth map for 2021, and Jimmy Garoppolo is officially the unofficial starter.
Via Cam Inman from San José Mercury NewsGaroppolo appears as a starter, with rookie Trey Lance as a backup. Nate Sudfeld and Josh Rosen are both listed as third strings.
Elsewhere on the offensive, the starting receivers are Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, with Mohamed Sanu and Richie James as substitutes.
Rookie Trey Sermon is No.2 behind Raheem Mostert.
Aiyuk is also listed as the No.1 betting returner, with James as the top kicking returner.
