Stevie Nicks has dropped out of Napa’s premier music festival BottleRock Napa Valley over concerns about COVID-19, the singer said on Tuesday.

In a Twitter Publish, the former Fleetwood Mac singer says she is canceling her performances for 2021.

“Although I am vaccinated, at my age I am still extremely cautious so I decided to skip the 5 performances I had planned for 2021,” she wrote.

“Because singing and performing have been my whole life,” she continued, “My main goal is to stay healthy so that I can continue singing for the next decade or more. I am devastated and I know that fans are disappointed, but we will look to a brighter 2022. “


BottleRock told SFGATE he was “devastated” that Nicks “won’t be joining us this year,” but said he was “very happy to announce that Chris Stapleton will now headline BottleRock. Friday September 3 “.

Stapleton, singer and country songwriter, is best known for his hits like “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Broken Halos”.
