Park County Republican Chairman Martin Kimmet wrote in a letter to Cheney on Thursday: “You will no longer be recognized as the official Republican representative of Congress by the Park County Republican Party,” according to the Casper Star-Tribune .

Carbon County Republicans followed the move by voting unanimously to support a formal resolution denouncing Cheney.
