California Govt. Gavin Newsom broke last week while chatting with reporters, lamenting that everyone outside of Golden State is “kidding” about it.
Newsom, who faces a closer-than-expected recall election, spoke to the Sacramento Bee in an interview last week in which he got angry with critics from California.

“It would be nice if our home team focused on what’s right,” shouted the ailing governor. “Everyone outside of this state laughs at this state.”
“Guys, forgive me, I know I’m a little sharp today, but I’ve been taking you off a lot for many months,” Newsom said, waving his hand towards reporters. “I should be able to express myself too.”
The angry governor also kept his tenure as scandalous governor, noting that Texas and Florida could “scramble” over jobs California created.
“I am a future ex-governor,” the governor also said in the interview. “It could happen in a few weeks, it could happen in a few years.

Newsom faces recall election that sees candidate pool increase bigger as time passes.
Reality star and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner and conservative radio host Larry Elder are among the Republicans who cast their names in the ring against Newsom.
