The Warzone hack issue continues to rage and with no sign of an official fix from Activision, players are now taking matters into their own hands.
From aimbots to wallhacks, Warzone cheaters have many ways to gain an unfair advantage over their opponents. While Activision continues to target websites selling hacks, the game’s current anti-cheat continues to prove ineffective. In fact, it has now become an incredibly rare event where a Warzone lobby does not contain any hackers.
One of the most frustrating things about this issue is that it wastes a lot of time for normal players looking to play the game. After all, getting into the top 10 only to see your chances of winning ruined by one. hacker is not exactly ideal. Even if you report a potential cheater, Warzone’s free-to-play nature means that users can simply create another account.
Fortunately, there is a way for players to check if their lobby is full of pirates before engaging in a full match.
How to use the Overwolf Warzone tracker to avoid hackers
In order to see if you have pirates in your Warzone lobby, you must first download a Warzone stat tracker. Just follow the steps below to add Overwolf to your desktop.
- Go to overwolf.com.
- Click on ‘Warzone Tracker’.
- Select the “download” option.
- Once downloaded, simply link the Overwolf Warzone tracker to your Warzone account.
- Open the Overwolf app and start Warzone.
- When you have joined a lobby, press “Alt + L” to view all live player information.
Hackers in Warzone are generally incredibly easy to spot, as the vast majority of them will be low-level accounts with insanely high KDs. If you spot any players who have oddly high stats, simply exit the lobby and line up for another match.
While the Overwolf Warzone tracker does not fix the root cause of the game’s piracy issue, it can help you avoid any frustrating matches in the future.
