For the second night in a row, rain suspended play at Citi Field.
The Mets and Nationals finished Tuesday night’s postponed game Wednesday afternoon, until rainy weather returned to cancel Game 2.
The teams plan to play a doubles schedule on Thursday starting at 12:10 p.m., with the second game taking place 30 to 40 minutes after the end of the first game.
The Mets entered Game 1 Wednesday 3-1 behind, but rallied to win 8-7 and end a four-game losing streak.
