Sophia Bush claims One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn hung underwear casting photos in his office

Sophia Bush shared another disturbing story about disgraceful One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn as she claimed he hung photos of the female cast members in their underwear in his office.

The 39-year-old actress appeared on Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside Of You podcast on Tuesday as she shared a gruesome allegation about the 55-year-old former writer, director and producer.

In 2017, Schwahn was fired as a showrunner from E! drama The Royals following allegations of sexual misconduct by several women.

At the time, 43 women spoke out against Schwahn, including Sophia’s castmate and friend Hilarie Burton. She alleged that he forcefully kissed her twice while she was working with him on One Tree Hill.

Eighteen women on that show, as well as 25 women from The Royals, along with Elizabeth Hurley, accused Schwahn of varying degrees of sexual misconduct.

Podcast host and Rosenbaum, 49, said the showrunner “was basically a monster” during the show’s nine seasons that Bush agreed to.

She explained, “18 women from our show signed a collective letter. It was 18 people willing to speak publicly about their experiences with the cast and crew, and 25 women from the cast and crew on his next show signed a letter in response to his behavior.

The contents of the letter consisted of inappropriate behavior of which Schwahn was accused on the set of One Tree Hill before those working on The Royals made similar statements. To this day, Schwahn has yet to make a statement regarding these allegations.

Bush explained, “He was very open. I think the worst of what he did was hidden. But, yes, he wasn’t shy about being a handyman, making inappropriate comments, luring people into side rooms for conversations.

She then gave a disturbing account of a writer’s claims about photos of the actors in their underwear allegedly exhibited in Schwahn’s office.

Bush said, “It’s funny when you think about the things men write. We would have these scenes written for us, being with our intimate partners on the show, written scenes where we would be in our underwear, whatever.

“We found out from a writer that he kept a board of fitting photos of each girl in her underwear in his office. Photos of us that were taken by the wardrobe supervisor, who was female, of us in different versions of underwear and / or lingerie that then had to be approved, chosen and one ended up in the show.

“He would just keep an array of all those photos. We were like, ‘Wow, that’s super violent.’ ‘

Rosenbaum asked if Bush would be able to keep her “calm” if she was in the same room as the shameful creator.

The actress replied, “I could have a conversation like this, but even if you ask me to imagine it, the feeling of hot white rage in my chest is not small.

“Because not only was it the really overt abuse and manipulation that he put so many women through, it was also the most insidious shit.”

One Tree Hill aired on The CW (formerly The WB) throughout the show’s nine seasons from 2003 to 2012.

Bush, Burton, and coworker Bethany Joy Lenz recently joined forces for their own podcast, titled Drama Queens, as they dive deep into the show one episode at a time.

Regarding the podcast, Bush told Rosenbaum that she was happy to “heal old wounds” every week. She said: ‘If that annoys [Schwahn] that we have the power. I am delighted.
