What these trailers mean for Vanguard
While these short clips don’t reveal much, there is a lot to take away. In the Pacific Front teaser, we can see a patch that says “Task Force Vanguard”. Some players have linked that this patch is very similar to the one for Task Force 141, which appeared in the Modern Warfare series.
In the Western Front tease, you again see the patch that looks like the Task Force patch. Additionally, players noticed that there was a sign on the floor that read: “Merville. Some in the community believe this is related to the Battle of Merville artillery battery. It was a battle that took place in France and was part of the Normandy landings.
You may also see a sign that says “SGT. Kingsley, ”which is confusing as he doesn’t match any of the rumored characters so far. On the Eastern Front, we learn a little more about Polina, the red-haired sniper who now appears in a cutscene after the victory of Warzone.
For now, the community is eagerly awaiting to see when more details are revealed. You can stay up to date by visiting our CoD Vanguard page for any new information.
