Branch Michelle has a new bun in the oven after a heartbreaking loss.
On Sunday August 15, the 38-year-old “Everything” and “All You Wanted” singer and mother of two announced that she was pregnant again after having miscarried last December. She celebrated the happy news in the sweetest way, literally.
“You know you’re pregnant when …” Michelle wrote, alongside a post of freshly baked scones with jam and sour cream. “I woke up with a picture my friend Sonya sent scones she was eating in England and I immediately had to jump out of bed and make a batch myself. @officerpatrickcarney was my hero (as usual) and went to the market looking for double cream. I couldn’t be more excited (and nervous! Hello, pregnancy after miscarriage ?!) to announce that baby Carney is coming in early 2022! “
With pictures of the scones, baked from a recipe from Nigelle Lawson, Michelle also included a photo of herself and her husband and Black keys drummer Patrick carneythe son of Rhys james carney, who will be 3 years old later this month, gazing longingly at the oven.
