Following the Rams’ loss to the Chargers, we learned that Ben Skowronek had a broken forearm and needed surgery. He is not the only player to suffer from an injury, however. Sean McVay provided an update on several players after practice Monday, including Leonard Floyd.
McVay said Floyd left training with an ankle injury, but that doesn’t seem to matter. The team checked it out and “it looks like it’s good,” McVay said, so it looks like Floyd will be fine – a huge relief for the Rams as he’s a crucial part of the defense.
Sean McVay said OLB Leonard Floyd didn’t complete Monday’s practice due to an ankle injury, but McVay didn’t seem worried about that.
“We’ve checked it out. It looks like it’s fine, but we just want to get a little more in-depth assessment.”

McVay also shared some information about Trishton Jackson, Tutu Atwell, and Eric Banks. Atwell did not train on Monday after his back inflamed before entering the pitch, forcing the Rams to keep him on the sidelines as a precaution.
Jackson also missed practice due to a knee injury he sustained against the Chargers, although McVay did not elaborate on the severity further.
And finally, Banks was in pain after practice on Monday, but that’s not a problem.
Additionally, McVay said DL Eric Banks was sore after today’s walkthrough, but “nothing to worry about,” according to McVay.
