Former Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has shared his thoughts on Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain and has a warning for the French side.
Messi has joined Mauricio Pochettino’s side on a free transfer and could team up with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar from a formidable attack.
Still, Henry says it’s not that simple and that Pochettino needs to find the best balance on his side if they are to continue and succeed.
“Balance is the most important thing. In a moment, we are still talking about the best players, attacking, advancing. But there has to be a balance, ”he said.
“We are talking about the team I played for at Barca (with Eto’o and Messi) but people forget that we didn’t score a lot of goals. Usually teams that don’t score a lot of goals are not far from titles or Champions Leagues.
“When you have super human players it’s a little easier but when I see how Paris is doing right now, they leave me a little too many goals. It’s true, they lack players but the balance is the most important thing.

Messi is not expected to make his PSG debut until the end of the month as rumors persist about Mbappe’s future. There is still speculation that the striker will not sign a new deal with Ligue 1 and could move to Real Madrid this summer or next summer.
