During Sunday’s episode of “Last Week Tonight”, John Oliver did a spiritual dig at the new “Jeopardy!” host Mike Richards while breaking down the ongoing debate in the pandemic age over mandatory mask requirements in schools.
The segment included video of an anti-mask mob harassing mask advocates outside a Tennessee school board meeting. “We’ll find you,” threatens a disgruntled anti-masker in the clip, “and we know who you are. “

Throughout the remainder of this weekend’s “Last Week Tonight” episode, Oliver continued to rain harsh criticism on the anti-mask crowd as the highly contagious Delta variant of the coronavirus ravages the unvaccinated community .
“We are only fighting over masks in schools right now because there is a bunch of stupid adults who have decided not to get the shot,” Oliver said.
“To all of you, I can only say – to quote a bunch of upsetting idiots – ‘We know who you are,’ and you are the f- problem.”
To further prove his point, the British American comedian took on an anti-mask parent who – while raving about American values and the people who “died for our freedom” – admitted that his child “thinks” how cool ”to wear a mask to classify.
“Do you realize how rare it is for a child to voluntarily do something positive for public health?” Said Olivier. “Children normally just move snot dispensaries that cough on doorknobs and sneeze straight into people’s mouths.
“Listen, the bottom line is that the best thing you can do to prevent the spread of COVID in schools isn’t just to put masks on children. It is up to the whole community around this school to be vaccinated.
