Hilary Duff says she has a delta variant of COVID-19

Hilary Duff details the symptoms she experiences while battling COVID-19.

The Younger alum, who in March, took to her Instagram story to reveal that she had tested positive for COVID-19. In a photo of her looking worse when lying in bed, the “So Yesterday” singer wrote, “The Delta … she’s a little bitch.” She then listed her symptoms, which included a “bad headache”, “no taste or smell”, “sinus pressure” and “brain fog”.

She concluded: “Happy to be vaxxed”, next to a peace sign.

While vaccines still provide strong protection against hospitalizations and death, the so-called vaccines, although still rare, have become more common as the vaccine continues to circulate around the world.

Earlier this week, Duff was all smiles on the ‘gram as she posted a photo of herself and , a fallout from how I Met Your Mother. In the new series, Duff plays Sophie, a woman seeking love like Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) from the original series. The Lizzie McGuire star captioned the photo, “Who’s ready for us ??? We may or may not have been sitting outside a certain person’s apartment.

In May, the actress – who was to star in a Lizzie McGuire reboot before it gets deleted due to creative differences – spoke to why she was thrilled to be working on the show.

“There are great characters and I’m going to have another family on set, another family on TV,” Duff said. “There are so many love story opportunities with this show because it’s Sophie and then, three guys. So it goes all over this rabbit hole genre, well, which one was the father? you get to love going through all of Sophie’s young experiences of finding love and dating and what it’s like in the modern world. “
