Poll: What do you think of Safari’s latest design in iOS 15?

We are at least a month away from the public release of iOS 15 by Apple. After much controversy with Safari’s new look, the company has finally managed to appeal to most beta users. What do you think of Safari’s design in iOS 15 now?

Safari with iOS 15 started off with a radical new design. A week after the announcement of this new look, we are conducting a poll on what our readers think about this big change. Surprisingly, 43% thought it was a good change, although they hadn’t tried Safari’s design at the time.

Additionally, nearly 20% of our readers who were already trying the new beta thought the revamped Safari was a great design choice, though complaints from Twitter were massive.

In Beta 3, Apple made the first big change with Safari on macOS Monterey by bringing in separate tab bars. Then with the next beta releases the company brought it to iPadOS as well and with the latest beta of iOS 15 Apple not only revamped the “new design” by bringing back the old one.

With iOS 15 beta 6, we are now closer to what the final version of the operating system and Safari will look like. While Safari will always be presented with a revamped experience, users will have the option of going back to the “single tab” rather than going all over with the new “tab bar”.

I’ve really enjoyed the new Safari look since beta 1 and I really think this new design is awesome. I like to slide between the pages at the bottom and see the same color as the website in the tab bar. For macOS Monterey and iPadOS 15, I feel the same.

With Apple now offering the “old design” and this new approach, do you think the company now has Safari? Vote in the poll and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
