Arsenal news, injuries, lineup news
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are trying to come back from COVID-19, but Lacazette has not resumed training and Aubameyang has only one day on the books.
The club haven’t been able to save Martin Odegaard’s new signing on time, but there are scenarios where they could get Aaron Ramsdale to save in time for the tilt with Chelsea.
QUESTIONABLE: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (illness), Alexandre Lacazette (illness) | OUT: Thomas Partey (ankle), Gabriel Magalhaes (knee), Eddie Nketiah (ankle)
Chelsea news, injuries, lineup news
Thomas Tuchel will not have Christian Pulisic available after the fully vaccinated American tested positive for COVID-19 (he said he was not experiencing any symptoms).
But Romelu Lukaku could make his debut for Chelsea again as Tuchel is hoping fitness will allow the striker to enter the fold on Sunday.
As for the status of N’Golo Kanté, whose ankle is injured, and Hakim Ziyech, who had a sling on his arm after a shoulder injury suffered at UEFA, here is Tuchel:
“Hakim and N’Golo were both in training today. They have done everything since yesterday to be in training today, ”said Tuchel. “They had absolutely no problems so we definitely need to have more physical and intense training sessions tomorrow with them and the team.”
QUESTIONABLE: Romelu Lukaku (isolation), N’Golo Kante (ankle), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (COVID-19) | OUT: Hakim Ziyech (shoulder), Christian Pulisic (COVID-19).

Bettors would see an Arsenal win at home as a decent upset, paying off at +360, while a win at Chelsea pays just -130. A draw also seems unlikely at +255.

Prediction
It does indeed appear that the final absences of Lacazette and Odegaard as well as the possible absences of Aubameyang and Partey are a lot to ask of Arsenal, although the Gunners will continue to suffer from the loss to Brentford. But Chelsea will miss Pulisic and possibly Kante while also hoping Romelu Lukaku hits the ground running. You can’t win Arsenal. And we really can’t find a draw in ourselves either. Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea.
