Today, Ubisoft released a new trailer for its upcoming co-op team shooter, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction.
This time around, we get a detailed look at the gameplay, basically explaining what this new title is all about.

Rainbow Six Extraction is coming to PS5, Xbox SeriesX | S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia in January 2022. You can check out the previous trailer, plenty of screenshots, and the E3 gameplay and cinematic.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is a 1 to 3 player cooperative tactical first-person shooter. Knowledge, cooperation and a tactical approach are your best weapons. Group together and put everything on the line as you face off against an unknown foe.

With a selection of 12 uniquely designed maps featuring procedurally generated challenges, enemies, infestation, and increasing difficulty, the dangers are unpredictable, but the rewards richer as you advance.If an Operator fails to make it to an extraction point, you and your team will have a choice: leave your Operator behind to continue for greater rewards or come back to mount a daring rescue. Those who don’t will find their MIA operator, making them temporarily unavailable for future missions. The only way to get an MIA operator back is to extract it before the parasite fully takes over it.
FIGHTING A DEADLY AND EVOLVING ALIEN THREAT
The Chimera parasite and its evolving Archæns are sensitive, highly lethal organisms that consume and reshape the landscape. The Rainbow Exogenous Containment and Analysis Team (REACT) hopes to learn from this unique but deadly phenomenon, and you’ll rely on your teammates and instinct to take on 10 parasitic archetypes such as: the vicious Spiker, the elusive Tormentor and Summon Apex. Survive sprawl, a stream of conscious parasitic tissue that spreads through the containment zone and alters the ecosystem. Areas that were previously infested can be cleared, while areas that were previously safe could be ravaged by the Sprawl and other deadly enemies. Work together to take advantage of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege destruction technology to strengthen walls against attack or tear them down to create offensive opportunities.
