Ohio State is stacked, Penn State could be back on track, and Michigan is quickly approaching the defining season of the Jim harbaugh time.
The Big Ten’s three biggest programs have plenty of storylines to follow heading into the 2021 season, but can a conference team keep up with the Buckeyes? It doesn’t seem likely, even though they change quarterbacks and rely on CJ Stroud lead the program to a third consecutive playoff appearance. Stroud has plenty of help and Ohio State maintains by far the conference’s most talented roster. The Buckeyes’ final five recruiting classes rank 5th nationally on average, with three classes ranked 2nd.
Is the gap between the state of Ohio and the rest of the conference even bigger in 2021 than it was in 2021? We’ll see soon, but it certainly appears that way on paper.
Which teams can face the Buckeyes? And which teams could surprise with better or worse results than expected in the East and West divisions?
After months of studying the rosters and chatting with contacts across the country, it’s time to preview the Big Ten. Below is an overview of each team, along with their projected arrival and record.
