The Apex Legends the devs have heard loud and clear the criticism surrounding Seer, the latest Legend to be added to the game when Season 10 launches. So a new update was rolled out today (August 23) with many changes for make Seer a little less powerful.

When Seer was first introduced to the world of Apex Legends At the start of Season 10, it quickly became clear that he would be the new meta until the developers realized he had to undergo a nerf.

After some issues arose with the new patch, it was announced that the Seer nerf update would be delayed for an additional week. But fortunately, Respawn entertainment ironed out all the bugs and the new one Apex Legends the update has arrived for all platforms.

Apex Legends Seer Nerf

After Seer’s arrival at the start of Season 10 on August 3, fans quickly discovered that Seer’s abilities were a bit overpowered. Luckily, the developers took the comments into account quickly and on August 10, they announced that a balancing fix was already in the works.

Originally, the Seer nerve patch was scheduled for the following week. But, after discovering some issues with the fix, Apex Legends producer Josh Medina announced that fans will wait for the nerf a little longer.

Numerous Apex Legends players found Seer’s tactical flashbang ability to be the main issue with him. But now, with the latest patch, that might not be a problem anymore. Check out the full patch notes for changes to Seer.

Below you will find the entire patch notes for the Apex Legends update posted 23 august. This now brings the game to version 1.78 and includes the following changes:

Update 23/08/2021

See the changes

Passive

  • Increased wait time between sensor peaks for full HP targets (1.25s to 1.75s)
  • Removing ellipses from the central circle
  • Reduced range beyond 75m (blue tips)
  • Reduced field of vision

Tactical

  • Increased detonation delay from 1.4s to 1.6s
  • Affected players are no longer damaged or flashed. The screen shake of being hers is also reduced
  • Slow movement added while maintaining tactical
  • Decrease volume on audio
  • Fixed tactical effects visible in the firing range when they weren’t meant to be

Ultimate

  • Cooldown increased from 90 to 120
  • Decrease volume on audio

Various

  • Fixed several errors related to Seer
  • Adjusted volume of vocal lines played when Seer is chosen

Other fixes

  • Fixed a problem caused by Climbatizer FX (error “No effect exists for the handle”)
  • Fixed issue with challenges (“Table index -1 is out of range”)
  • Fixed most cases of Legends “holding a grenade” when they did not have one in their inventory (Watson still suffers in rare cases)
  • Fixed an error when using multiple grenades on explosive holds (a later update later today will cause the explosive holds to close)
  • Switch: fixed Holospray display
