Death Stranding Director's Cut PS5

Geoff Keighley will be writing a new chapter in his love story for game creator Hideo Kojima later this week as “an in-depth look at the gameplay of” Death Stranding Director’s Cut is confirmed for Gamescom Opening Night Live. Taking place on Wednesday, the host simply teased that the gameplay sequences would be long alongside the bold warning: “Don’t miss this moment.” We mean you could probably miss it as we’ll have a handy rundown of every PS5, PS4 on show announcement available on the site afterwards, but you shouldn’t doubt Keighley.

So far, we know that Death Stranding Director’s Cut will feature new story missions and a race mode alongside elements clearly inspired by Metal Gear Solid. On top of that, the PS5 upgrade is much more reasonably priced than Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. So maybe don’t expect new content on the same scale as Iki Island. Still, we’ll see it all in action on Wednesday.
