Forget the humble motorhome, Dembell is launching the world’s most luxurious land yacht for explorers who appreciate the finer things.
The fledgling German team has just unveiled a lavish new RV that feels more like a superyacht than anything else currently on the road. Built around a three-axle Mercedes chassis, the motorhome is decidedly sporty with clean lines and a red racing stripe, but it’s inside where things get really interesting.
Available in three different finishes, the motorhome has the finest furnishings and a top notch laundry list of equipment that includes a separate garage for your supercar. The premium interior has been managed by the same Italian design team that is responsible for outfitting Azimut slime-worthy superyachts and can be tailored to suit the needs of each driver.
At the front of the RV, the cockpit is equipped with four captain’s seats, each with air spring suspension and an integrated massage function. This area flows neatly onto the plush living room which sports a large leather sofa, 55-inch TV, and a pull-out queen-size bed that can accommodate guests or children when needed. It is also possible to add an optional dining table.
The adjoining kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art Miele appliances, including an induction hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave to help prepare for a storm on the go. The bathroom has stone tiles and a ceramic sink, shower and toilet. The motorhome is also equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
As for the master suite, it spans the entire width of the vehicle and includes a queen-size bed (79 inches by 79 inches), a few drawers and wardrobes, and another television for gorging under the covers.
Naturally, the motorhome offers all the necessary comforts, such as air conditioning, central heating, ambient lighting and a Bose home theater system combined with the two televisions. It is also equipped with solar panels mounted on the roof, an on-board generator and a 1000 liter fresh water tank when you want to live off the grid. There’s even an electric parasol for outdoor dining.
The real piece of resistance, however, is the “tender garage”. It is available in three sizes and can accommodate a wide range of vehicles. The first option comes with three slides and offers just enough room to store a quad or bike. The small garage has two pull-outs and can accommodate smaller cars. Finally, the large garage offers enough space to accommodate a Ferrari California or any other supercar measuring less than 14.75 feet.
The Dembell motorhome is expected to make its first public appearance at the Düsseldorf Caravan Show on August 27 in Germany. Details regarding pricing and production are still to come, but this is a land-based yacht that should have no problem finding a captain.
