The zero dark thirty The actress explained that Tammy was “so emotional” in real life and worried it might not translate onscreen with her pounds of makeup. Additionally, she revealed that it takes over eight hours a day for the film’s makeup crew to complete their makeover.
“I settled in and was so freaked out,” she recalls after sitting in the makeup chair for so long. “I started having hot flashes because it’s so heavy and hot. I was scared. It was like doing a long distance flight every day. Because if it takes 7½ hours to put on , it’s gonna take at least two hours to go down.
She added: “I was worried about my circulation. By the time I got on set that first day, it was half past seven, I was like, ‘I’m out of energy. “And she’s supposed to show off with so much energy.”
With a few adjustments from the glam team, Jessica then only had to sit in the makeup chair for four hours.
