Spider-Man fans are losing their minds after spotting a Green Goblin Easter Egg in the No way home trailer.

The first official preview of Tom Holland’s third standalone Spider-Man film was released on Tuesday, August 24, teasing a showdown between Peter Parker and several non-MCU villains from the previous Spider-Man films.

As expected, Alfred Molina appears as Doctor Octopus (confirming the arrival of Tobey Maguire’s MCU?), With Jamie Foxx’s appearance as Electro also teased.

However, it was the appearance of a pumpkin bomb, the weapon belonging to Green Goblin, that most excited comic book fans.

Until now, it was not known if Willem Dafoe, who played the villain in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man (2002) alongside Tobey Maguire, would be in the film.

However, thanks to the inclusion of Norman Osborne’s weapon, along with his character’s laughter, one appearance is all but confirmed.

Find below a selection of fan reactions at the time.

Spider-Man: No Path Home will be released on December 17th.
