Spider-Man: No Path Home the director has refueled Creation in a hilarious dig at the leaked movie trailer.
While the full trailer for Tom Holland’s upcoming third solo outing as Spidey has now officially been released, a preview accidentally came out and toured over the weekend.
The leak was actually a recording watched across multiple devices – not exactly IMAX – although we’re glad those behind the film could at least not care.

Taking to his Instagram page, Watts posted a clip of his phone playing a recording from another phone playing a recording from another phone playing a recording from another phone playing the trailer. *To breathe*.
“The way the director planned it,” he joked in the caption.

Fortunately, we can now watch the trailer as planned, with the clip showing Peter Parker turning to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in an attempt to make people forget he’s Spider-Man after the big reveal at the end of the last film.
However, the catch is that MJ (Zendaya) and others would also forget about his alter ego, and it looks like he’s spoiling Strange’s fate in the process, opening up some multiversal madness – including the return of Doc. Ock (Alfred Molina).
Speaking previously about the film, Holland teased, “I can say this is the most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made.
“You sit down, read the script and see what they try to do, and they succeed. It’s really impressive. I’ve never seen a standalone superhero movie like this.”
There are also strong rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield could return as Spider-Man – although the latter has firmly denied that he appears. However, a supposed set photo was leaked over the weekend, appearing to show the pair.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is available now on DVD, Blu ray and digital download. Spider-Man: No Path Home has a December 17, 2021 release date.
