Why Ben Affleck was really spotted browsing Tiffany’s

Made Ben affleck have a commitment on the brain? Not exactly.

The actor, who recently rekindled his romance with his former fiancee Jennifer lopez, raised eyebrows when spotted in the diamond ring mecca, Tiffany & Co, on August 23.

In the pictures, published by Sixth page, Affleck visited the Century City, Calif., Site with his mother Christophe and his 9 year old son Samuel. At one point, the star was broken apparently looking at a counter with rings exposed inside. However, according to a source, this was not what it looked like, as the actor was actually launching a scavenger hunt at Century City Mall.

“They split into teams with his daughters on one team and Ben, Sam and his mother on the other,” a source explained. “They walked around the mall and entered various stores passing each of the items they found. One of the stops was at Tiffany’s and they must have found something in the store. Ben walked in with his. son and his mom and they quickly found what they needed and got out. Ben held a pen and crossed it off his list.

Overall it was a successful outing. “They all had fun and got into the game,” the source noted. “It was a fun family activity that they seemed to enjoy doing together.”
