The Green Bay Packers placed S Will redmond on injured reserve, exchanged CB Ka’dar Hollman to the Houston Texans for a 2022 seventh-round pick, and released DL Josh avery and LB Kamal martin. Managing Director Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions on Tuesday.
Redmond played 31 games with five regular season starts and four playoff games after joining the Packers in 2018.
(kuh-DAR HOLE-man) Hollman was selected by the Packers in the sixth round (No. 185 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft and played 18 games with one start over his two seasons with Green Bay.
Avery signed with the Packers on August 4.
(kuh-MALL) Martin was selected by Green Bay in the fifth round (No.175) of the 2020 NFL Draft and played 10 games with six starts last season as well as both playoff games.
