Bills’ unvaccinated Cole Beasley to miss training for five days

Actions have consequences.

Cole Beasley was sent home after training on Tuesday and will be kept away from the training facility for five days after being exposed to a trainer who tested positive for COVID.

Beasley was one of four Buffalo Bills players who were sent home along with fellow receiver Gabriel Davis and defensive tackles Star Lotulelei and Vernon Butler.

All four players have tested negative for COVID.

Beasley and the other three players have been named as close contacts. Even if the coach who has tested positive is fully vaccinated, players who were in contact with the coach must miss these five working days because they are not vaccinated. As a precaution, the NFL has different guidelines for unvaccinated players compared to vaccinated players.

Vaccinated players enjoy more freedom on road trips and are tested less frequently than unvaccinated players. For the most part, vaccinated players live lives in the NFL that are more like normal while unvaccinated players are subject to strict protocols.

Beasley has been in the headlines for months about his stance on the vaccine. In addition to the fact that Beasley was not vaccinated, he also criticized the NFL vaccination policy that was put in place to make players safer.

Beasley has said he is “pro-choice” when it comes to the vaccine, but the point is, that position just isn’t good enough anymore.

The Delta variant and other COVID mutations are gripping the country by the neck and endangering many people. Hospitals are running out of space, children are increasingly infected and the virus continues to mutate. Several statistics show that people are safer with the vaccine than without.

So Beasley getting in front of a camera and spitting out this nonsense will only make the people of this country less safe.

Beasley has made his bed now, he is to stay there for five days.
