Offset's ideas on fatherhood are at the forefront of his latest musical offering. While many Father of 4 focuses on his own nuclear family, the rapper's separate father is also in his mind. The artist has recently opened up about their difficult relationship with Squire.

He explained how his father had "stepped into the street" while he was only a toddler and that he has remained there ever since. The last time they spoke, it was three years ago, when Migos had a massive commercial success. "I had paper and I could not wait to tell him," Offset said. But his father, who had no stable address to accommodate his son nor his new wealth, refused to bind himself by pride.

"It just started to piss me off. I held out my hand and you slapped me. You slapped me when he had not even gone out, "Offset explained. "You did not even come back to put anything in my hand. So now, I have the impression that you have no respect for me. You are still running and you do not have to.

His situation still affects the master of ceremonies despite his difficult exterior. "I do not care how you are a gangster, who you are supposed to be or how you are trapped," said the twenty-seven-year-old. "To see a nigga with their pop breaks you."

"If my dad called me now," he said, "I'll take a plane, buy him a house, give him a million dollars, and I will not talk to him for ten years." At least I would know he's straight.
