MOBILE, Alaska (WALA) – Two people, including an eight-year-old, were injured during a shootout in downtown Mobile Mobile on Saturday night following the Mardi Gras parade.

Witnesses told FOX10 News that the shots were fired around 9 pm near Government Street and Dearborn Street.

Mobile Fire-Rescue said it treated two people with gunshots. The eight-year-old girl was injured in her leg. The child was taken to the University Hospital with injuries not putting his life in danger.

The second victim is a man in his late teens or early twenties. Mobile Fire-Rescue said that the man's arm had been hit by a bullet and that he had been treated on the scene.

Police arrested at least one person at the scene, but investigators did not specify whether the minor was related to the shootings.

A video sent to FOX10 News shows the moments when the shots were fired. The video shows several people eating out in a restaurant and jumping to the ground when several shots are fired.
