Boeing 767 freighter with 3 aboard accidents in Texas

The Texas Sheriff's Office announced last Saturday that a body had been found after a twin-engine cargo plane carrying three passengers crashed into a bay east of Houston earlier. At a press conference, sheriff Brian Hawthorn, of Chambers County Sheriff, said: "It's probably an accident that no one would be able to survive."

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued an alert on the Boeing 767 after losing radio contact about 30 miles southeast of Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Video of affiliate CBS KHOU showed the wreck in the shallow waters of Trinity Bay. There was rain in the area when air traffic control lost contact with the plane.

The flight, operated by Atlas Air Inc., was operated from the Miami International Airport. In a statement, Atlas Air said, "These people and their family members are our top priority right now."

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has announced the dispatch of a team to investigate the scene. Boeing issued a statement on Twitter saying that he was aware of the accident and "gather more information".
