A new trailer has been released for melty Blood: Type Lumina. This latest trailer revealed Noel as a playable character.
Noel is said to be an “irresistibly handsome teacher by day, cold-blooded killer of apostles who died at night.” As this description indicates, Noel is an executor of the holy church who masquerades as a teacher in the universe of Melty Blood.
Noel is clearly a character who has a lot of range with his weapon – a giant polearm. Despite the size and power of this weapon, Noel is revealed to be a rather mobile character in the trailer.
At the start of the match, Noel performs an aerial attack on a crouch blocking Ciel. After successfully opening Ciel’s defenses, Noel is able to pick up a combo from his head.
It’s also clear that Noel is quite strong up close as she is able to secure openings against Ciel using frame traps. You will definitely have to be careful not to try to force your way through Noel’s offensive.
melty Blood: Type Lumina will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam on September 30, 2021.
