One of the best Tizen apps is now available on Galaxy Watch 4

The PPT Controller app may not have (re) launched alongside the Galaxy Watch 4 series in August, but it is no slouch. Namely, Samsung has just completed porting said mobile tool to the next generation of its portable devices. This means that if you go to the Play Store right now, you should be able to download the PPT Controller app for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

It’s still the same tool we all know and love

Along with the newly added support for Samsung’s Wear OS devices, this is still the same Tizen tool we know and love. Its main selling point is that you can control PowerPoint presentations from your wrist. Which is about as handy as a slideshow controller without reading your mind.

The functionality of the app is still limited to controlling presentations on Windows PCs. It is also Bluetooth based, which limits its usefulness a bit. But again, how often should you host a presentation from an office tower? The navigation mechanism is based on the rotating bezel of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. And you can also swipe across your laptop screen to control slides.

To complete this set of handy features, you have the option of setting a wrist alert to alert you when your presentation is on its last slide. Like all portable apps developed by Samsung, the recently updated PPT Controller is completely free to download and use.
