Pat Sajak’s daughter Maggie joins ‘Wheel of Fortune’ as social correspondent

Pat Sajak and Vanna White have just signed again with “Wheel of Fortune” to stay until 2024.

Additionally, Sajak, who has directed the game show since 1981, will now be a consultant producer, and his daughter, Maggie Sajak, is joining the game show as a social correspondent.

The 26-year-old’s job is to expand the show’s digital presence. According to Variety, she will be the host online sharing “exclusive videos, behind-the-scenes access and interviews with hosts, staff, team and contestants.”

Maggie will also lead the show’s social digital channels, including its “website and pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.”

According to the show’s website, Maggie “graduated from Princeton University, completed a postgraduate program at Columbia University, and is currently attending law school.”

“I’m excited for the opportunity to bring an insider’s look at the show with new behind-the-scenes features, interviews, videos and insights. The staff and team at ‘Wheel of Fortune’ always have been like extended family, and I am delighted to work with them, ”she said of her new role.

Maggie appeared on “WoF” often throughout her twenties and even teamed up with White to be the letter turner in January when her father was recovering from surgery.

Season 39 of “Wheel of Fortune” premieres September 13 on CBS.
