Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favorite pastime for many fans, perhaps right after watching the games. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors produced by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men said WWE folks were “very unhappy” with Mick Foley after his recent criticism of the promotion. There is an “unwritten rule” that WWE Legends should not disparage the company.
- The WWE Draft will take place during the October 1 episode of Smack down and the October 4 episode of Raw, by Zarian. The Queen of the Ring and King of the Ring tournaments will then begin on October 8 during the episode of Smack down, with the finals taking place on October 21 in Saudi Arabia.
- Zarian said he heard “something very similar” to what Dave Meltzer reported about WWE’s plan to have Adam Cole as a manager on the main roster. Meltzer said Cole’s pitch did not come from the WWE Creative Team. It was the idea of Vince McMahon or Bruce Prichard.
- On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer mentioned that Bryan Danielson is a huge fan of Vince McMahon as a person. The money offered to him by AEW and WWE was near, and it was a very difficult decision for Danielson to make which company to sign with.
- Following rumors spreading that Sami Zayn’s contract with WWE will soon end, Fightful has indicated that his deal is not in place this fall.
