Xbox and Arkane’s Redfall leaked via development screenshots

The first development footage has leaked showing Arkane Austin and Xbox’s Redfall.

The images, which originate from Reddit and were actively posted on social media on Saturday, likely don’t indicate the visual quality the final game will achieve, but they do hint at the kind of gameplay that the co-op shooter might contain.

Announced in June, Redfall can be played solo or co-op with up to four players, and players face off against a legion of vampires who have taken control of the once picturesque island town of Redfall.

The game offers players to choose between four characters – telekinetic Layla, former military sniper Jacob, paranormal investigator Devinder, and Remi, who has his own robotic companion.

The leaked development footage seems to suggest that Redfall has an open world map with loot shooter missions and elements including a skill tree and different weapon ranks.

It also looks like the game will be playable in third or first person view.

Redfall will be available on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X / S and PC on launch day in summer 2022.

Bethesda Senior Content Director Anne Lewis said of the game in June: “In iconic Arkane style, you’ll choose your way across the island and through the masses of vampires as you experience this game. that caused this plague of leeches, then end the threat.

“When the vampires took over, they blocked the sun, pushed back the tides, and effectively isolated the island from the rest of society, trapping anyone who remained.
