  • Map: Le Burnout
  • 20 Rounds Won – Pinnacle Trials Engram (appears to be Reed’s Regret, Stasis Linear Fusion Rifle)
  • 7 matches won – Pinnacle Trials Engram
  • Flawless Race – Shayura’s Wrath (Adept), Void Submachine Gun

(Be with us, we’re still on the lookout for how this new Trials rewards system works and will update this article as we learn more.)

Trials of Osiris is a weekend PvP mode that spans from Friday’s Daily Reset to Tuesday’s Weekly Reset, giving you four days to participate. Your goal in the Trials is for you and the other two players in your squad to complete a “Flawless” run, in which you win seven matches without losing any.

Go flawless, and you’ll earn a trip to the Lighthouse and receive special rewards, including new Adept weapons. These have additional stat bonuses, making them one of the most coveted items you can get your hands on.

Thanks to a lot of testing changes this season, the mode is a little easier to use than it used to be. Judgment of Osiris now features matchmaking and an indie mode, so you can get into matches even if you don’t have a full squad of three players to face. Your Trials Passage, the card you buy from Saint-14 that gives you access to the mode and tracks your victories, does not not Track your losses so you can keep playing and earn rewards even if you lose in a flawless race. Bungie has also adjusted trials so that you get rewards based on the number of Sleeves, rather than matches you won during your session, making it easier to get some of the unique Judgment of Osiris loot.

Finally, you will earn Trial Engrams for participating in the mode, which you can cash in with Saint-14 during the weekend you receive them. Thanks to the new update, you can adjust these engrams to produce specific loot chunks, rather than randomly receiving them from the loot pool. Just make sure to use your tokens before the weekly reset on September 14, or you will lose them.
