Raheem Mostert’s wife says NFL star bombarded with hate messages after injury

Rahim mostert was swallowed up by hate messages from fans after the NFL star suffered an injury on Sunday … with the RB wife saying people said the Niners player “should kill himself.”

Devon mostert explained it all in an emotional social media post hours after the 49ers beat the Detroit Lions … claiming that she and her husband received “THOUSANDS” of terrible comments after the game.

In her post, Devon said some of the posts suggested Mostert be kicked out of the squad … while others scoffed at his injury history.

“I know I shouldn’t care, but wow. Wow wow wow,” Devon said. “The nasty things some of you just say are heartbreaking. I don’t think you will understand them. Football is my husband’s job. This is how my family EATS. degrading on the person I LOVE hurts. “

Devon continued, “And I try so hard to shake them up… I do. But when there are HUNDREDS, THOUSANDS. That’s a lot.”

Mostert only played a handful of snaps against the Lions, recording two 20-yard runs before injuring his knee.

The extent of his injury is unknown – Devon said he will have more tests on Monday… and they are “praying” that it is all minor.

“R is going to be good,” Devon added. “He always comes back stronger.

“Thank you to everyone who sent prayers,” she continued. “I appreciate you and see your beautiful heart. I’m holding my babies for a very long time tonight.”
