College Football Rankings: Oregon Moves To No.3, Arkansas Gets 37 Places In New CBS Sports 130

Oregon is one of the greatest stories in all of college football. Now he sits just behind Alabama and Georgia, registering at No.3 in the updated CBS Sports 130 after knocking down Ohio State on the road on Saturday.

The 13-place jump in our full ranking of every FBS team, as voted by experts at CBS Sports and 247Sports, isn’t the biggest climb – you can find more in our mover report below. – but it is the most spectacular. In fact, the Ducks slipped straight to where Ohio State occupied before the loss, although the Buckeyes fell only five spots to No.8.

Iowa, the big winner over Iowa State in Week 2, didn’t advance as high in our poll as in others. However, the Hawkeyes edged out Cincinnati and Penn State, settling just ahead of the Buckeyes at No.7. The Cyclones didn’t fall too far after the 27-17 loss, however, dropping just five spots to No.14 .

Unsurprisingly, poor losses for USC and Texas led to significant drops in the standings, while teams like Virginia Tech (No.15), Wisconsin (No.16) and Michigan (No ° 19) experienced slight bumps thanks to the new available real estate. The biggest movers
