The Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals are both well on their way to preparations for Sunday’s Week 2 game in the desert. We have the first injury reports for both clubs, so let’s take a look at some of the bumps and bruises.
As always, we start with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings
Did not participate
- LB Anthony Barr (knee)
- CB Harrison Main (hamstrings)
Limited participation
- OT Christian Darrisaw (groin)
- LB Nick Vigil (ankle)
Full participation
No player listed
At this point I think I would be more surprised if Anthony Barr made practice rather than seeing that it came out again. I don’t know how much we can expect from him in the future which is frustrating. Hand had a great game on the special teams so hopefully his setback is minor. Vigil also had an exceptional game against the Bengals on Sunday instead of Barr.
And now it’s time for the home team.
Arizona Cardinals
Did not participate
- OL Kelvin Beachum (ribs)
- WR AJ Green (Veterans Day of Rest)
- WR DeAndre Hopkins (Veterans Day Off)
- OL Rodney Hudson (Veterans Day Off)
- LB Devon Kennard (hamstrings)
- S Charles Washington (thigh)

With a few days off for the veterans, the Cardinals don’t appear to have any really serious injury issues as it stands. Obviously, we’ll be monitoring the reports throughout the week to see if anything changes.
These are your first injury reports for the Vikings and Cardinals, guys. Hopefully we’ll see Hand and Vigil (at the very least) slightly improved when the next reports come out on Thursday afternoon.
