After doing things differently for almost a month with the Gamescom and Ash Crimson trailers, we’re apparently back to our regular lineup of announcements for The King of Fighters 15.
Tonight, SNK revealed that Cook Kukri will be the next fighter to officially join the KOF15 roster via a new gameplay trailer.
As you would expect from the return of KOF14 newcomers, Kukri seems to be keeping pretty much everything he had going for him in the previous game with new options to give him a new look.
The hooded dude still focuses on his control over the sand, so we can see him using the same abilities to use the grains as projectiles, propel himself for kicks, or create clones.
While quite a few of the cast received new Climax Supers for KOF15, Kukri seems to just keep all of his Supers from KOF14 although we only get to see the big one start at the end of the trailer.
One thing that looks a little different now is that Kukri seems a little less serious and rather more eccentric as he was portrayed as in SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy as the main antagonist of the spin-off.
Although he was joined with Sylvie Paula Paula and Mian at KOF14, he is much more likely to be part of a new squad for the upcoming tournament.
It was revealed in his previous ending that Kukri was working for / with Elisabeth to revive Ash Crimson in the living world, so they will likely form a new group for KOF15.
