What Community Day movement does the evolution of Oshawott learn?

When it has evolved anytime on September 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. EDT, your Oshawott evolution will learn Hydraulic cannon, a very powerful water-like movement.

Based on years past, if you miss the Community Day period, you will likely be able to evolve your Oshawott during the December Community Weekend event to move. You can also use an EliteTM to teach movements inherited from Community Day only.

How does Samurott do in combat?

In PvE content, Samurott is doing pretty well, alongside the other water-type starter Pokémon. For raids and gyms, set it up with Cascade and Hydraulic cannon.

In PvP, Samurott is good but not ideal. You can configure it with Cutter of Fury with Megacorne and Hydraulic cannon if you really want to use it.

How can I make the most of Oshawott Community Day?

All XP earned by catching Pokémon will be triple, so if you are going to catch a lot of Pokemon, you should consider using a Lucky Egg to increase that XP even more. Incense used during the event will also last for three hours, so you should use one (if you have one) to further increase your appearances in Oshawott.
