According to Jay Milla, the director of the Litecoin Foundation, the number of active addresses on the Litecoin (CRYPTO: LTC) has exceeded that of Bitcoin Cash (CRYPTO: BCH), and Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE).
In a recent TweeterJay mentioned that the growth in wallet activity on the Litecoin network has jumped to 450,000, surpassing other large-cap cryptocurrencies.

Active address is a metric measured in terms of the increase in network activity on the chain, and based on this, analysts can predict the behavior pattern of the crypto market.
Recently Litecoin made headlines for a fake press release on Walmart Inc (NYSE: WMT) accepting cryptocurrency payments from buyers using Litecoin.
The company later released a declaration saying it was fake news and that one of his employees sent the tweet without verifying.
Walmart has also confirmed that no such partnership exists with Litecoin.
