Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games has released a new update to celebrate the first anniversary of the ghost investigation game.
The Anniversary Update – I see what you did with the name there – is now available and introduces a handful of tweaks and improvements, including a log “review” that lets you cross out proofs, change your settings and generally make it “easier to use and navigate”.
You can also play solo offline mode without requiring you to log into the server, and you will no longer receive a $ 10 pity payment when you fail a contract; now you will have “the insurance according to the chosen difficulty”. My favorite change might be that failure will also reveal what kind of ghost was terrorizing you now.

A few fixes were also released on top of that, mainly due to bugs and missing fonts and characters. There have also been some changes in VR, so solo VR players will now receive a photo reward, and the VR mute button has been replaced with the pause button for all controllers.

To celebrate the anniversary, we have put together an anniversary update where you can party in the main menu area along with other additions and changes which you can read below.
The ghost-hunting co-op game is created by 25-year-old British indie developer “Dknighter”, who recently took to the Phasmophobia Steam page to announce the planned expansion of Kinetic Games studio.
Its most recent update, Exposition – which launched a few weeks ago – includes “new and improved” equipment, which includes the DOTS projector, and two additional ghosts, “the new Myling and Goryo”.
