In the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had to leave the game with an injury after being sacked by defensive end AJ Epenesa.
Tagovailoa limped on the sidelines and was eventually transported to the locker room and did not return to the game. He was replaced by quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the team’s 35-0 loss.
After the match, it was reported by Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network that Tagovailoa had bruised ribs and would be having an MRI tomorrow.
At the time, Dolphins fans as well as the NFL world shared their reactions to Tagovailoa’s injury.

It sucks. It has been a huge year for the Dolphins team. A major injury from Tua hampers both their short-term playoff prospects and muddies their long-term plans. https://t.co/Uie3OWuvMZ
